C’è un confine sottile nelle Alte Terre dove la realtà sfuma nel sogno: è il Ponte nel Cielo.
Al momento della sua realizzazione era il ponte tibetano più alto d’Europa.
Anche se il passo iniziale è spesso incerto davanti alla sensazione del vuoto, bastano pochi metri perché l’emozione prenda il sopravvento e si senta che l’anima vola finalmente libera sopra la valle.
Sospesi a 140 metri di altezza, si cammina su un sentiero d’aria lungo 234 metri, sostenuto dalla solidità di 700 assi di larice locale che profumano di montagna.
Da questo osservatorio privilegiato, lo sguardo cattura la Sella di Campo, i riflessi della diga di Colombera e le cime delle Alpi Retiche, allungandosi fino a scorgere il Lago di Como che brilla all’orizzonte.
Lungo la passerella la vita pulsa in tutte le sue sfumature: i bambini ridono scoprendo l’ ebbrezza dell’altezza in totale sicurezza, mentre i fotografi cercano lo scatto perfetto per immortalare la luce radente che bacia le vette.
Il ponte accoglie ogni stagione come un dono, dai colori accesi dell’autunno ai bianchi silenzi dell’inverno, quando la neve ammanta le cime e trasforma la Val Tartano in un regno di pace incantata.
Nata nel 2016 dall’audacia dei soci del Consorzio Pustarèsc, quest’opera ha saputo trasformare un piccolo borgo in un simbolo di speranza e rinascita, ricordandoci che camminare tra terra e cielo è l’avventura più bella che si possa vivere

THE BRIDGE IN THE SKY
A SUSPENDED HORIZON
There is a subtle threshold in the High Lands where reality fades into dream: it is the Bridge in the Sky.
At the time of its construction, it was the highest Tibetan bridge in Europe.
Although the first step may feel uncertain in the face of the void, it takes only a few metres for emotion to take over, and for the soul to feel as though it is finally flying free above the valley.
Suspended 140 metres above the ground, you walk along a path of air stretching 234 metres, supported by the strength of 700 larch planks, their scent redolent of the mountains.
From this privileged vantage point, your gaze takes in the Sella di Campo, the reflections of the Colombera dam and the peaks of the Rhaetian Alps, reaching as far as a glimpse of Lake Como shimmering on the horizon.
Along the walkway, life pulses in all its shades: children laugh as they discover the thrill of height in complete safety, while photographers seek the perfect shot to capture the grazing light as it kisses the peaks.
The bridge welcomes every season as a gift—from the vivid hues of autumn to the white silences of winter, when snow cloaks the summits and transforms Val Tartano into a realm of enchanted peace.
Created in 2016 through the vision and determination of the members of the Consorzio Pustarèsc, this structure has transformed a small village into a symbol of hope and renewal, reminding us that walking between earth and sky is the most beautiful adventure one can experience.
